St. George Temple

This page needs help =). The title isn't what I wanted it to be, and it will probably just stay like this, even though its lack of "pefectness" bothers me. I was really excited to get the Citrus paper pack from DCWV and you will probably be seeing a lot more of it. I just love it.
I also love these photos, they bring back some great memories!

1st Haircut-- Max

This photo is not great, but this is the layout I made when we scrapbooked Saturday. It turned out way cute, I was really happy with it. All the paper I used is from the "Story Time Collection" from Cosmo Cricket. Just barely got around to using it =).
We didn't have our computer, so I hand journaled on this page, and it didn't turn out so bad =). The title is just American Crafts Thickers. Love those things.

Scrap Party

We had a scrapbooking party at my house on Saturday morning for a couple of hours, just my sisters and my sister-in-law. We did a card exchange, and this is what I came up with. It turned out pretty cute. The paper is crate paper, and I used my scallop punch again. Love that thing. The flowers are a stamp set from CTMH, and the "happy birthday" is a rub on from American Crafts. Everyone made cute cards.
I used the left over paper from the cards to make this cute little layout of Maxwell. Lately I am into more simple style, I don't use too many embellishments, just paper. The lettering is from the All Mixed Up Cricut cartridge.

What's in a Name?

This layout is a result of the kiddos being sick. I like how it turned out. I happened to look at the blog write.click.scrapbook today and they had this sketch as a challenge, so I just did it for fun. The papers I used are all from Pebbles in my Pocket, from two collections... a boy one, and a zoo one. The stickers for "in" and the stars are from that Pebbles set, the "name" is from American Crafts, as well as the "A." The letters for "what's" I just found in my stash, no clue where they came from.

Class Assignment #1

I am taking an online Photoshop class right now, and this is my completed assignment for today. Just a simple frame and wordart.

Botticelli

Usually I am not quite this simple, but I am happy how this layout turned out. I had planned to put a title on it, but all the bare space actually makes me happy =). I was reminded of this little nickname Hannah has for Julia this morning, and I wanted to get it scrapbooked before I forgot to do it... like most of my memories! You can click on the picture to enlarge it so you can read the text if you are interested.
Everything on this layout came from Stampin' Up (my first time using their stuff), not sure what it was called.

Mothers Day 09

For this layout I only used one piece of patterned paper-- a challenge for two 12 x 12 papers. It is a card making paper from Scenic Route (don't remember the name). I used complimentary American Crafts cardstock. The book plate is from Basic Grey, and I used the Cricut markers and the Cursive 101 font to write "Best." Not super happy with the title, but it is okay.

Maxwell Birthday Invite in Photoshop

Welcome to my first attempt at digital scrapbooking... not bad for not knowing anything about Photoshop except for a few tips from Leslie a few months ago =). I used free elements that I found at www.summertimedesigns.blogspot.com. She does some super cute stuff.
